About Me

Hi my name is Julie, and I'm so glad you're here!
Here is a small part of my story:
I have been working out since I was 8 or 9, but I took a few hiatuses...Five years ago, I lost almost 40 pounds! I was really unhealthy, not so much because of my weight, but stress was killing me, literally. So, I decided to become a group fitness instructor, and I didn't turn back. I love helping people find ways to be healthy that work for them!
In 2011, I moved to North Carolina and married my sweetheart, Micah. He is one of the greatest blessings I've ever been given. It was around that time that I discovered that I had a sensitivity to gluten, so ever since, I've tried to stay away from it. My husband used his gluten-free lifestyle to recover from M.S., a disease that cripples many people. He is now back up to a healthy weight, and weight trains pretty consistently....He's a beast. :-)
Today, we enjoy our home in central North Carolina with our feisty tabby cat, Monkey, our adopted angora kitten, Whitacre, and our beautiful German Shepherd, Orion.
